Henry "Harry" Thele, 75, of Jackson passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Born Dec. 19, 1945, on the family farm in Leopold, Missouri, to Henry and Tillie Koenig Thele. He was one of 13 siblings. He and Brenda Sue Crites were married Aug. 7, 1965. Henry "Harry" Thele, 75, of Jackson passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2021, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Dec. 19, 1945, on the family farm in Leopold, Missouri, to Henry and Tillie Koenig Thele. He was one of 13 siblings. He and Brenda Sue Crites were married Aug. 7, 1965. They had been married nearly 50 years, when Brenda passed away July 26, 2015.

Harry attended Leopold High School. He worked many years in residential construction. He and Brenda attended Jackson Church of Christ.

Harry enjoyed being with his family. His hobbies were doing yard work, fishing, and making furniture.

Loving survivors include a daughter, Candice "Candi" (Stephen) Hill of Jackson; two grandchildren, Dustin (Sarah) Hill and Mackenzie Hill (fiancee Kyle Bigham), both of Jackson; two great-grandchildren, Connor Mowery and Adelynn Hill; and five siblings, Evelyn Conner of Festus, Missouri; Johnny Thele of Scopus, Missouri; Robert Thele of Jackson; and Kenny Thele and Judy Stause of Glennon, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; four sisters, Marcella, Juletta, Gerlene "Gerri" and Imogene; and three brothers, William, Richard and Jake.

Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, with Steve Simmons officiating. Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.
